Cora's First Election
Cora spent election day in an electric state with the rest of us--careening between elation and anxiety. By the time OH came through with a win, though, she launched into her most vigorous three-legged crawl, bumping her way through Jen and Donna's house and learning how to shriek with style. A couple of times she got totally confused and upset by all the shouting and crying and general excitement of this historic night, but when she learned that Obama swept the nation with a landslide victory, she couldn't stop clapping with the rest of us. Despite all the activity leading up to the final moments, she somehow sat completely still for his whole speech.
